GSL Education is currently looking for a well-qualified

SEN teaching assistant for a secondary school in

Manchester. This is a full time role starting ASAP. If you have understanding of SEND and are a calm, friendly and creative individual who wants to make a positive difference in students' lives, this is a perfect role for you

As such, the school is looking for a SEN TA who will be dynamic in the classroom and who also possesses the ability to differentiate the work to a range of ability levels.

About SEN TA Role:

To establish a warm, caring and supportive relationship with pupils in order to support them feeling safe and enabling them to enjoy and learn during their time at the School.
Support the Class Teacher in all areas of the day to day running of the class
To provide learning support for pupils in class or in 1:1 situations
Provide individualised behaviour interventions within your role as well as ensuring the child's safety at all times.
Be working alongside teachers and supporting students of different ages.
Be working with students with autism, Asperger and challenging behaviour.
Have previous experience with SEND in a school environment.
Be a confident, outgoing and personable individual with a passion for helping people.
