About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead the creation and development of robust financial planning, analysis and performance measurement in this newly established role at this exciting charity.
You will have substantial experience in successfully leading a financial business planning team in a dynamic organisation and proven experience in creating, implementing, and evolving detailed financial models and forecasts in a complex environment and havestrong analytical skills.
Key responsibilities of the Head of Financial Planning include:
- You will provide strategic and operational financial leadership to create develop, implement, and evolve a robust and forward-focused financial planning, analysis, and performance function.
- You will lead the creation and development of robust financial planning, analysis, and performance measurement in conjunction with the senior leadership team to ensure the organisation achieves its strategic objectives.
- Develop financial KPIs in conjunction with the Executive team to ensure the success of financial strategy.
- Manage the endtoend delivery of financial forecasting processes, including communications, timetable and data requirements.
- Use the outputs from the financial models and analysis to drive decisionmaking.
About You
You will have substantial experience in successfully leading a financial business planning team in a dynamic organisation. Educated to a degree level, you will have membership of a professional accounting body. You will have a supportive, collaborative leadershipapproach, and be authoritative and credible with excellent communication and influencing skills.
To succeed in the role of Head of Financial Planning, your key skills will include:
- You will have highly developed relationship management and networking skills and be adept at fostering joint working across functions and organisational boundaries.
- You will have proven senior finance business partnering skills and be able to partner with executive & senior management level stakeholders.
- You will have proven experience in creating, implementing, and evolving detailed financial models and forecasts in a complex environment and have strong analytical skills.
- You'll be a team player who can work with other functions to achieve objectives.
- Your experience will include leading the annual and longterm financial planning process in collaboration with other senior stakeholders.
