Business Area


EQ has embarked on a Client to Cash (C2C) transformation covering all capabilities for an end-to-end journey from marketing, new business development, opportunity and contract lifecycle management, order to cash, and relationship management through to renewalsmanagement.

As a result of acquisitions and growth, we currently have multiple ways of working, processes and systems which we are consolidating into a single global approach and platform based on Salesforce CRM, Conga Quote to Cash and Marketo.


A programme team is being established to drive through this transformation, and the role of Senior Business Architect will play a key part in this.


Role Summary
Reports to the C2C Product and Programme Director and works with other colleagues across the wider programme team.

Provides direction, guidance, definition and understanding of business and systems architecture to effectively support the C2C Programme objectives,particularly in the areas of business capability modelling, process re-engineering and platform delivery and integration.


Core Duties/Responsibilities

  • Understand e2e C2C ecosystem through Design / Build / Test / Deploy phases for regular releases and key Salesforce/Conga/Marketo platform initiatives
  • Work closely with colleagues within the programme team and across the wider business to design, implement and support reliable and effective business and technical solutions for our C2C platform
  • Create and document solution blueprints, roadmaps, capability models, or process models
  • Manage and support business analyst specialists and integration activities
  • Ensure delivery to agreed objectives, requirements, schedules, costs and quality objectives, ensuring compliance and alignment with Group and Engineering standards and processes
  • Lead specification and solution design of interplatform integration approach
  • Lead activities associated with benefits realisation and ensure that the continual accrual of benefits can be achieved and measured
  • Maintain deep working knowledge of the business / platforms / products.

Skills, Capabilities and Attributes

  • Experience of CRM and Quote to Cash business capabilities essential
  • Experience of Salesforce and Conga products preferred
  • Experience of integration technologies and approaches essential
  • Experience of leading a team, providing management, direction and support to analysts and engineers
  • Capable of recognising structural challenges within the organisation, and identifying standardisation opportunities versus functional dependencies and differences
  • Adept at assimilating and correlating disconnecting information using significant analysis skills
  • Experienced at modelling business processes using standard tools and techniques
  • Expertise in agile software development techniques and methodologies
  • Experience using a dev board such as Azure DevOps or Jira
  • Experience of working with third party suppliers and system integrators
  • Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to persuade, influence, challenge supportively and effectively where appropriate.
