SRS are looking for a Support Worker for a social justice charity in Kendall for a 2 month contract to start asap.


Skills/Experience:


  • Experience of working with vulnerable service users with complex needs.
  • Be able to deliver support in either housing or so
  • Prior safeguarding experience.
  • Experience of working in supported housing is preferrable.

Duties:


  • Ensure that service users have access to all education, training and employment opportunities made available to them.
  • Working with adults with learning difficulties.
  • Helping service users with tenancy issues, payments of rent and claiming of benefits.
  • Provide personalised support packages appropriate to the service users needs.
  • Make sure all records of activities are kept up to date and accurate.
