Watermark specialises in providing luxury products for the hospitality industry.

Primarily working in the aviation sector, we design and make amenity kits, meal service and têxtiles goods for major international airlines.

Following recent expansion, we are looking to recruit a professional and experienced Product/Technical Designer to join our international team.


Job brief:
Developing product for market, managing the project from concept through to implementation.

Generating ideas and creating final design specifications, for various products in the company portfolio with a primary focus on airline amenities including bags and leather goods, working as part of the Design & Development team.

Product / Technical Designer


Job Description:

• To create designs and product concepts for a variety of onboard amenity items, providing artwork, illustration and visuals using various design packages, (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, KeyShot, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Purpose for designs include:
• Concept generation and final specification drawings of amenity products
• Concept generation and final specification drawings of children's toys and activities for airline amenity kits
• Concept generation and final specification drawings of gifts with promotion and product packaging
• Print patterns and graphics, to be applied to various products and packaging
• Layout of presentations, catalogues, booklets, adverts and other print material
• Create designs and products that fit the client brief within the timescale required.
• Work with the Product Development teams in other offices, assisting with new development programs.
• Project manage workload ensuring all work is delivered to agreed timelines.

Requirements/competencies:

• Major in Industrial and Product design.
• Proven experience in product design roles.
• Ability to plan and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and targets.
• Good team player, able to work with internal and external teams to ensure the design fits the needs of the customer.
• To quickly resolve any problems that arise and change/modify designs where required
• Develop broad based knowledge of the core products and services provided by the company.
• Keep up to date on market and industry trends.
• Selfmotivated and able to work both independently and as part of the international team.
• Excellent articulate, detailminded, and organised.
• Fluent in oral & written English.

£35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
