Job Role:

Young woman in Corbridge area requires an enabler to support with the following care plan:

  • 2hrs every week enabling support to be arranged time and day flexibly on either Mon, Tue, Wed or Thurs.
  • Additionally, 1hr on a Saturday, time flexible on a fortnightly basis.

Hours of work: 2hrs per week, 1hr fortnightly (10hrs per 4 weeks)

Rates of Pay:
£10.82 per hour

Main Duties:


  • Enabling support required with socialising and accessing the local community for shopping and visiting places of interest

Worker does not need to be a driver but will need to support client to load and unload her mobility scooter from client's vehicle.

  • Saturday support is around a welfare check for client and small household tasks, dishes, bins etc and checking she has what she needs.

  • Respect confidentiality

Training:

Where it is required, such as in Health and Safety matters, practical training and guidance will be arranged and the care worker will be expected to attend.
