Position Summary

The TMA is an extension of the client's GMS function and is responsible for consulting on pre-assignment relocation benefit packages with the client's Human Resources and management teams.

The TMA also acts as the main point of contact for policy exceptions and escalations. The TMA will also collaborate with SIRVA's operations team to ensure authorisation processes are completed timely and effectively.

Functions and Responsibilities

Partner with client HR and line management on relocation/assignment issues impacting the employee and family.
Provide assistance with managing exceptions and escalations.
Remain a point of contact for addressing inquiries and offering solutions as issues arise throughout the relocation/assignment lifecycle.

Assist HR and line management in determining the appropriate mobility solution/program for each relocation/assignment scenario.
This may include conducting intake meetings, educating stakeholders on the end-to-end initiation process (e.g. steps, stakeholders, systems, approval requirements, data requirements), providing policy counseling and. guidance on policy selection, delivering costing analyses, researching immigration timelines/challenges, and reviewing payroll solutions.

Act as the primary point of contact for HR and line management for assistance with navigating overall process and systems.

This includes fielding questions, trouble-shooting issues and developing work-arounds to expedite steps as necessary, reviewing assignment documentation such as cost projections and letters of assignment for reasonableness, monitoring approval processes, conducting pre-determination briefings and managing expectations.

Partner closely with SIRVA Consultants to effectively transition new authorisations and provide guidance to them throughout the relocation/assignment lifecycle.

Qualifications and Preferred Skills

  • Minimum 5 years' experience administrating relocation policy required
  • Tax experience is essential
  • Domestic and international relocation counseling experience preferred
  • 13 years' experience in a client facing role preferred
  • Ability to identify potential problems and develop creative solutions
  • Excellent listening skills and consultative skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to interact with individuals at various levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills, the ability to function as part of a team while acting as a selfstarter
  • Ability to manage deadlines, multitask, and operate in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong presentation skills, business etiquette, and phone skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity in an effective manner

  • Strong preference for overseas work/living experience
