Our Administrators provide the first point of contact for our patients when they need us most and support our therapists to deliver the highest standards of treatment.

We are looking for someone with administration experience and excellent communication skills. You will have strong IT skills including use of excel and a good understanding of how to uphold confidentiality. Previous administration experience within a healthcare setting would be advantageous.


As an Administrator at Trent PTS, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative services of Trent PTS ensuring clients receive exceptional service from referral to discharge.

You will ensure client records are up to date and receptions are welcoming and fully equipped.

You will hold accountability for clients assigned to the building ensuring their appointments are booked in line with Trent PTS policy.

You will maintain a booking system for the building and highlight issues to Admin Lead. You will dealwith all calls associated to the building and overflow calls to ensure high level of communication.


This position will be based at our Saltergate office but will be expected to provide cover across Trent PTS bases in Chesterfield, for annual leave and sickness purposes.


Essential criteria:


  • GCSE or equivalent English and Mathematics grades A-C
  • Word Processing RSA I or equivalent
  • Standard keyboard / IT skills
  • Use of Microsoft systems, Word, Outlook and excel
  • Ability to manage own workload and use initiative
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate effectively with professionals at all levels

Desirable criteria:


  • Word Processing RSA II or equivalent
  • Experience in similar role
