Key Responsibilities:

Encourage and facilitate all employee empowerment to identify and address Quality and EHS issues and encourage new ideas to improve current standards and conditions.
Ensures legislative requirements are understood at all levels of the business and encourages personal ownership. Develops, maintains and delivers plans to ensure compliance.
Control of policies and procedures are reviewed on an annual basis.
Control and maintenance of our existing Quality Management System (ISO 9001)
Ownership of quality systems, driving compliance and continuous improvement.
Maintaining the internal audit schedule.
Undertake audits, follow up actions and root cause analyses.
Communicate identified or reported Quality or EHS issues to the Production Manager to assist in resolutions.
To provide advice and guidance to Managers, Supervisors, team leaders and employees.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with others.
Will be selfmotivated and have a positive attitude.
Good problemsolving skills.
Experience in a similar role in a production/manufacturing environment.
Have a strong knowledge and experience of managing and maintaining Quality Management systems to ISO 9001 standards.
Experience with method statements, risk assessments and standard operating procedures and a health & Safety qualification, would be an advantage.
Knowledge of the window and door manufacturing would be an advantage.
