We're looking for a Service Specialist to join our Digital Services Implementation team and connect our customers with our technologies and products.

Our team is involved in GE Digital's ADMS (Advanced Distributions Management System) related projects, tackling problems ranging from analysing data to providing solutions for varied customer business requirements.

Our product is deployed in distribution companies worldwide and is leading in the growing market of Energy Utilities.

Our software solutions deliver reliability, productivity, innovation, and efficiency through a modular architecture, adaptive algorithms, predictive analytics, and a brilliant user experience.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the implementation of ADMS solutions utilizing the Software Suite. Own technical deliverables during the entire lifecycle of the projects. Engage throughout the full lifecycle of assigned projects, participating in decisions on architecture, design, and functionality to keep programs on track in terms of budget, time, and customer expectations.
  • Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
  • Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
  • May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
  • A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have good understanding in the IT Systems & Digital Implementation Services.
  • Good experience with Unix, and/or Windows systems.
  • Experience in software analysis, design, methodology, development and architecture
  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or comparable discipline from an accredited university.
  • Ability to work independently and be selfmotivated.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Previous exposure to customer engagement.
  • Utility domain experience.

Desired Characteristics

  • Knowledge on ADMS systems, GIS, SCADA, Enterprise Mobility.
  • Experience in Linux, SQL, Python, Docker, Jenkins.
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
