Come and help us lead the way to a purer tomorrow.- Office based role - Consett- Reporting into the Bid & Tender Manager, you will support the day-to-day activities of the business in searching and responding to invitations to tender.- Monitor automated tender notifications and perform an initial bid/no-bid criteria assessment.- Regularly assess the search criteria and update our searches.- Perform tender document housekeeping, with the support of the Bid & Tender Manager and suggest improvement initiatives.- Coordinate and take ownership of designated tenders from initial tender acceptance through to submission and contract award.- Provide technical support to team members and customers with all things EV related.- Build knowledge of electric & plug-in vehicles and their need for varied charging infrastructure solutions.- Generally, support the business with varied activities as and when required.


Requirements:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate bids and tenders through our internal processes with support from our existing Bid and Tender Manager
  • Searching for relative business opportunities in both the Public and Private sector
  • Writing, editing and checking bid documents
  • Support the Sales team with all bid and tenders
  • Assist in continuous business improvements
  • Gathering evidence to answer PQQ, RFI, RFP and vendor onboarding questionnaires
  • Assist in business reporting of our tender's status
  • Assist to build a library of templates and documents to support the company with future bids and tenders
    Skills, Experience and Expectations:
  • We are looking for someone that is enthusiastic and wants to challenge themselves. Whether you're new to this role or have similar experience, you will be supported through professional development and our fantastic colleagues to become a valued member of our team.
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage but not essential
  • Good IT skills in Microsoft packages
  • Good numerical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Time management and organised
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • People skills, being able to communicate and develop relationships at all levels within the company
  • Can work well under pressure and within agreed timescales
  • A good attention to detail and a practical approach
  • A passion towards preserving our environment and more sustainable transport
