Adecco are delighted to be recruiting for our Client who are a manufacturing company based near Wigton & produce a fantastic product.
We are looking to employ a permanent HR Advisor with outstanding administrative and communication skills, ideal hours are full time however our Client is happy to look at less hours including school hours.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support all internal and external HRrelated inquiries or requests.
- Assisting with daytoday operations of the HR functions and duties
- Provide clerical and administrative support
- Compile and update employee records.
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
- Maintain Employee records
- Act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.
- Assist with performance management procedures.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
- Perform Inductions for new staff.
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
- Process payroll and resolve any payroll errors.
- Complete and manage exit interviews.
- Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
Role Requirements:
- Experience within a HR role (essential).
- Exposure to labour law and employment equity regulations.
- Effective HR administration and people management skills.
- Exposure to payroll practices.
- Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Fantastic organisational and time management skills.
- Strong decisionmaking and problemsolving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately follow instructions.
