We are currently looking for a talented and motivated
Bid Coordinator with copywriting skills to join our Project and Bid Support team within our Energy, Water and Environment.
What does the role involve?
You will record new business opportunities in the company system, ensuring they are kept up to date, tracking them through to bid stage where you will coordinate large bids and tenders in a timely, efficient and professional manner
This will involve:
- Scheduling reviews in accordance with the 'win business' process.
- Coordinating responses from the bid team and writing and presenting well thought through answers to standardised questions.
- Assisting technical leaders in the construction of thorough and thought provoking responses which are tailored to each clients bespoke needs.
- Compiling and submitting the bid documentation in accordance with the specification and adding visual concepts to improve the visual aspect of the submission.
- Acting as a key participant in the bid community by contributing effectively and championing the Sweco brand and visual guidelines.
What do you need to be successful in the role?
You'll have experience in either a bid writing/coordination or copywriting role, along the ability to manage your own time. Good communication skills are key as you will be collaborating with lots of stakeholders across the business.
A clear understanding of processes within an engineering or construction based environment would be strongly beneficial and you should be skilled in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
