An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Administration Assistant / Receptionist to join our Adult Community Treatment Team based at West Farm House in Cramlington.

The Post holder will have experience of working in similar work environment and will have previous administration experience,


Key skills:


  • Administration experience working within a team.
  • RSA/OCR Level 2 Typing qualifications or equivalent.
  • Experience in a customer / patient and service user focused environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A good understanding of the RIO system (not essential as training given to those who have not worked on this system before).
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft word/office packages and typing skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Note taking skills.
  • Ability to be selfdirected, motivated and be able to contribute positively within a team.
  • Well organised and structured.
  • The post holder will be expected to demonstrate flexibility in the role.
You should currently hold the required level of qualifications, as outlined in the Essential Criteria of the Personal Specification.


The post holder must be able to use own initiative, work under pressure, keep to strict deadlines and have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.

You will undertake a variety of duties including taking incoming calls, dealing with day to day queries, updating patient information system (RiO), sorting incoming/outgoing post, completing work from a shared inbox/work tray and reception duties, covering reception, all under the direction of the Administration Team Lead.
