FLT Driver / FLT Counterbalance

The Best Connection (Newcastle) are currently recruiting for
Counter Balance FLT Operatives to work on a continental work pattern for a company based on the Team Valley, Gateshead.

The business is very strict in regard to hygiene as they deal with food produce. The site has a
strict no smoking policy, so workers must not smoke during the full 12 hour shift.

The role:

Operating Counter Balance FLT to perform standard warehouse tasks
Loading and unloading vehicles, picking stock and general house keeping
Manual handling activities such as (but not limited to) pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying will be required
Navigating through small spaces and tight areas
Abide to company Health and Safety policies
Valid and in date Counter Balance FLT licence (not inhouse)
Must have FLT experience in a warehouse environment
Physically fit as the role will involve manual handling
Able to work under own initiative or part of a team

Hours of work and pay:

Continental working pattern
You will follow a rota which provides your shifts well in advance
Days 6am till 6pm
Nights 6pm till 6am

- £12.00 per hour flat rate (increases to £12.50 per hour after successful completion of induction period)
