The Financial Co-ordinator applies the Council's financial and charging policies for Adult Social Care clients through the delivery of efficient and effective information and advice.
They assess a customer's ability to pay towards care services provided, monitoring and preventing debt, provide welfare benefit advice and assistance to maximise household and individual income, underpin the Services' Direct Payment offer and provide robust support, information and advice.
The successful applicants will need to demonstrate they are enthusiastic, reliable and a good communicator who works on their own initiative and as part of a team and are able to manage a significant and complex caseload across all stages of the financial assessment process.
They will be dealing with people's financial information, therefore a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
We have six Financial Co-ordinator positions available, four positions based in Crewe, two positions based in Macclesfield. We have five permanent positions and one on a twelve-month contract basis.Please quote job reference number in all correspondence.
