The post-holder for this role will support our flagship brands:

  • Bosworth Independent College, a small tutorial college, today Bosworth is a leading independent boarding college in the UK
  • CATS Cambridge, a leading international boarding school based in Cambridge
  • Guildhouse School, London, an enterprise and business international boarding school based in London
  • The Worthgate School, an international acclaimed boarding school based in Canterbury
  • Support for our group brand, CGS and other schools may also be needed on occasion.


The post-holder for this role will ideally be based in or around Northampton and report to the International Boarding Schools Marketing Manager.

Role overview
The post-holder for this role will be a member of the School Marketing Team.

The post-holder for this role will primarily support Bosworth Independent College and will need to know the schools and courses like the back of their hand.

The post-holder will support the International Boarding Schools Marketing Manager to articulate the USPs and nuances of our courses to our local and international audiences.

The post-holder will need to build positive relationships with the Academic Leadership team, teachers, and students.


Responsibilities:

Insights

  • Support desktop research and focus groups
  • Support surveys to internal and external audiences
  • Work with academic staff to identify, develop and explain USPs in market
Stakeholder Management

  • Engage key stakeholders at the school to find and create rich stories and content
  • Work closely with the Principal of the school to help carry out the school's strategic vision
  • Manage and update the MarComms Hub, our internal marketing platform.
Campaign Management and Activities

  • Collaborate with the Content Team to grow the school socialmedia channels
  • Arrange webinars and online talks
  • Support open days
  • Support the production of annual prospectuses and print materials
  • Support the review and updating of school websites
  • Support ad hoc requests from our global sales team and the schools
  • Gatekeep and quality assure all information for the schools
Person Specification

  • Collaborative skills
  • The postholder will need excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels


  • Communication skills

  • The ability to speak and write to a high standard is crucial. You will have to present new products and write engaging copy, telling the 'story' of products, for various marketing channels.
  • Proofreading skills it will be essential for the postholder to have excellent proofreading skills, especially the use of appropriate language, correct grammar and spelling
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Prioritisation skills the ability to work autonomously and prioritise whilst maintaining attention to detail
