About the role


As the Head of AI at Arbor, you will spearhead our efforts to trailblaze the future of Arbor's product portfolio.

Working closely with a small select team of senior engineers, your role will be pivotal in experimenting and creating prototypes that uncover new opportunities for innovation through AI.

This role is designed for a visionary leader who is passionate about leveraging AI and data to introduce next-generation features and capabilities in the education sector.


Core responsibilities

  • Lead a team of senior engineers in the ideation, development, and testing of innovative product prototypes. Foster a culture of creativity, experimentation, and agile development.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the Education sector. Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for product innovation that aligns with Arbor's vision and market needs.
  • Leverage artificial intelligence and data analytics to create unique experiences and insights. Drive the development of AIdriven features that facilitate joinedup thinking and advanced decisionmaking capabilities for our clients.
  • Oversee the rapid prototyping of new ideas, utilising feedback loops and iterative design to refine concepts. Ensure prototypes are developed with scalability and market viability in mind.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including product management, engineering, marketing, and sales teams, to ensure alignment and support for innovation initiatives. Engage with external stakeholders to gather insights and feedback on potential innovations.
  • Represent Arbor at industry events, conferences, and forums. Publish articles, whitepapers, and case studies on the future of education technology and Arbor's role in shaping it.
  • Foster relationships with key technology partners and Arbor Ambassadors to collaborate on forward thinking innovations and new ideas
  • Participate in techtalks and team based learning to ensure knowledge is spread

About you

  • Experience in product development or innovation, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and launching successful new products or services, preferably in the education technology or SaaS sectors.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
