Our client is looking for an experienced Project Officer.

1 Experience of working within a busy office environment
3 Experience of providing support to projects
4 Experience of communicating confidently with managers and colleagues in writing and in person
5 Experience of setting up and maintaining robust and accurate office systems.
6 Have good literacy and numeracy skills with good attention to detail
7 Excellent IT skills and able to use all Microsoft Office packages with confidence
8 Understanding of project management tools and techniques
9 Have excellent communication skills both verbal (in person or on the phone) and in writing.
10 Ability to manage own workload and act independently.
11 Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
12 Ability to follow and carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with relevant legislation, policy and procedures

Providing high quality project support functions to the property services

programme team and when required to other parts of the repairs service,

as agreed by the Property Services Programme Manager.

  • Assist the Property Services Programme Manager with the creation and
maintenance of databases, records and files related to his/her role as

Housing Property Services Safeguarding Lead.

  • To take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children
and young persons / vulnerable adults in your care and those who you come

into contact with.

  • Use existing skills in Microsoft Office IT systems to carry out administrative
duties in the most efficient and effective manner

  • The creation and ongoing maintenance of a detailed and accurate training
matrix for all staff across the repairs service. This involves as required the

accurate transfer of data from and to existing databases and files held by

the Training Facility Manager, Homes and Neighbourhoods and Corporate

L&D teams and HR.

  • Communicate effectively with the Training Facility Manager and other
senior and line managers and staff in order to identify and rectify any gaps

in training records and ensure the matrix is kept up to date at all times.

  • Support the Training Facility Manager in the creation and maintenance of a
training plan for the repairs service and in the identification of training course

providers and the co-ordination and delivery of courses in order to deliver

the training plan.
