Description

My client a sheet metal company based in Accrington is looking for a number of packers to join their production line.

The standard working hours are 8am-5pm but during busy periods you are required to work additional hours, these would include 6am/7am - 6pm Monday-Thursday 6am/7am - 1:15pm Friday 6am-11am Saturday.


Day to day duties include:

  • Hanging sheet metal onto conveyor belts to be sprayed
  • Removing sprayed goods onto inspection lines
  • Packaging goods after final inspection
  • Building boxes onto pallets
  • Palletising boxes
  • Labelling and sealing boxes ready for despatch
  • Unloading boxes into the loading area
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for temp-perm work and someone looking to work long hours.

Over time is paid over 39 hours work. This is paid at time + half.


This company is based on a bus route from Blackburn and Burnley, and is also close to the train station offering transport from Blackburn, Burnley and Nelson.

Alternatively there is free on site parking available.
