We are looking a works planner for our Glasgow based client

Monday to Friday 08.30 / mins unpaid for lunch)

Pay Rate £ 13.63 PAYE or £17.08 via the Umbrella service

The main focus of the role is to;

Provide support to the Journey Time Reliability Coordinator, to minimise disruption to the travelling public by managing the allocation of road space and coordination of all works
Manage the population and maintenance of the Traffic Scotland CMS system and ensure that all contract requirements in relation to its operation are fulfilled.
Ensure that the Scottish Road Works Register is properly populated and maintained, and all legal and contractual requirements are fulfilled.
Deal with road space enquiries from Statutory Undertakers, Third Parties and Local Authorities
Liaise with utilities and all others proposing works on the network to ensure that the conduct of their work is compliant with the current codes of practice and legal and contractual requirements.
Maintain contact with the road works community through participation in all relevant local and area Roads Authority and Utility Committee Meetings (RAUCS)
Issue, log, monitor and maintain inspections as per Code of Practice for Inspections

To be successful you will need to have a strong background in Administration combined with proficient IT Skills.

Salary:
£13.63-£17.08 per hour
