Overview

Accounts Assistant


Strata Solicitors have an opportunity for someone talented and committed to join our successful and growing niche law firm, providing quality market-leading, legal, claims, and business services and solutions to the UK's largest and most prestigious companies.


Responsibilities:


  • Completion of all types of financial transactions and billing for client related matters, ensuring that all such transactions comply with The SRA Accounts Rules 2019 including but not limited to: daily processing of receipts, payments, bank transfers, journals and bills;
  • Assist in the proper and timely reconciliation of all bank accounts, both clients and office accounts.
  • Ensure that all financial documents and any other financial records are properly filed and kept secure;
  • Chasing of aged debt;
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of all Strata and clients' documentation/information;
  • Carry out any other duties that are in keeping with the role

Qualifications:


  • Enthusiastic positive person with a "can do" approach;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Accurate data input skills;
  • Ability to cope under pressure and respond to demands;
  • Adaptable to change;
  • Problem solving approach;
  • Good organisational skills;
  • Selfmotivation and good use of initiative;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
