  • Location/Division Specific InformationUnity Lab Services provides a single source for coordinated lab service, support, and supply management. Our customised service offerings and worldclass service experts have the flexibility and experience to uniquely address our customer's laboratory's business needs.
  • How will you make an impact?This position is focused on service delivery excellence for UnityTM Lab Services which will in turn enable our Customers to concentrate on providing solutions to the worldwide community.
  • What will you do?
  • Warehouse/Stockroom Inventory Management.
  • Stockroom / POU management, dispensing of product, and direction / coordination of affiliated stockroom activities.
  • Enters usage data into appropriate programs for replenishment and invoicing process where appropriate.
  • Perform onsite program replenishments and disbursements.
  • Perform stockroom duties to include receiving, putaway, stock rotation, cycle counts, and other functions according to customer requirements.
  • Remove cardboard and trash as needed (detrashing).
  • Deliver direct shipment orders to end users (where appropriate).
  • Manage consignment and customer owned inventory via the bill of materials, ensuring FEFO and FIFO.
  • Communicate nonmoving stock and stock out information to customer on a regular basis.
  • Sourcing/Order Management.
  • Perform order entry, order expediting, customer service call resolution, return goods authorization, processing of backorders (where appropriate).
  • Facilitate vendor and customer interaction, problem resolution, executing 3rd party & agent buys (where appropriate).
  • Chemical Management (if Chemical Management exists at site).
  • Receive, register and track all chemical containers throughout the facility.
  • Perform routine audits of chemical inventory database.
  • Provide chemical inventory reports upon request.
  • Distribute chemicals throughout facility and upon request.
  • Follow all safety guidelines related to the handling and movement of chemical containers.
  • Laboratory Support Activities.
  • Be responsible for movement of gas cylinders onsite, including connection and disconnection.
  • Be responsible for handling weekly Liquid Nitrogen deliveries as required. Including connection and disconnection.
  • Receiving Deliveries From Post Room.
  • Unpacking & Handling Bins (albus, recycling).
  • Unpacking & Handling Bins (tip boxes, biological waste from labs).
  • Receiving samples.
  • How will you get here?
  • Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.


  • Experience


  • Experience
in logistics operations and warehousing is strongly preferred.


  • Experience
in laboratory setting or services is a plus.

  • Good organization and time management skills.


  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Possess a strong desire to serve the customer, and the interpersonal skills to deal with various levels of personnel at the customer site.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and customer focus to deliver excellent customer service including maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
  • Possess the organizational skills to multitask and meet deadlines as needed.
  • Must be able to use a computer and possess intermediate skil
