Office Assistant / Estate Coordinator

£21,000 + Super Benefits

Central Bristol / After Training - Hybrid available: 4 days office / 1 day home

The Company

Our client is a well-established probate and estate administration company whose aim is to ensure they offer a seamless and straightforward service for customers and families in their time of need.


The Job:


As an Estate Coordinator you will work as part of a team to process operational tasks in a timely manner.

You will work alongside the Personal Estate Managers and the wider business to make the estate administration as smooth and easy as possible for the families going through bereavement.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing calls from clients, beneficiaries and third parties.
  • Processing incoming funds, reconciling estate assets and updating financial records.
  • Drafting and reviewing correspondence.
  • Complete new file setups, including detailed reviews of all required legal documents for each estate.
  • Complete estate file reviews checks including the encashment or transfer of estate assets once Grant
- of Probate obtained.

  • Preparation of distributions of an estate and complete file closures.
  • Conduct insolvency checks, Will searches and antimoney laundering checks as well as instructing on
- property valuations.

  • Chasing third parties for outstanding information relating to existing estates.
  • Paying debts and expenses on estates.
  • Attend file review sessions and assist with implementing next steps.
  • Proactively engage with personal development plans and work collaboratively towards team targets.
  • Provide support to other members of the team as and when required

The Person / Essential experience;
Experience of working within an office environment or a retail / customer service environment also considered. You will have strong customer service skills, empathy and understanding and ideally some administration experience.


The Hours:
Monday to Friday 37.5 hour working week
