Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our transportation team. As a Sales Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales efforts of our transportation services.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist the sales team in achieving their targets by managing various administrative tasks and ensuring smooth sales operations.

You will contribute to building and maintaining strong customer relationships, while also providing essential administrative support to enhance overall sales effectiveness.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the sales team, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
  • Prepare and distribute sales reports, presentations, and other salesrelated documents.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate customer records, contracts, and pricing information.
  • Assist with order processing and logistics coordination, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of transportation services to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as operations and logistics, to ensure smooth coordination and execution of sales activities.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely and accurate information regarding services, pricing, and availability.
  • Support the sales team in lead generation and followup activities, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and updating the CRM system.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and contracts.
  • Coordinate with finance and billing departments to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payment processing.
  • Monitor and track sales activities, pipeline, and customer interactions to provide regular updates and reports to the sales team and management.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Sales Administrator or in a similar administrative role, preferably within the transport or logistics industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and other salesrelated software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of transportation and logistics processes and terminology.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with transportation regulations and compliance is a plus.

£21,168.00-£22,500.00 per year
