We have a vacancy for
Relief Quality Controller at our AGP Long Sutton site, reporting into the Quality Control Supervisor (will work as a General Production Line Operative when not needed as Quality Controller)


The Key areas of Quality Controller responsibility are as follows:

• Day to day quality checks
• To inspect product on arrival to determine quality of product, document and record findings accurately
• Work as part of a team to ensure the goals of the department are achieved on a daily basis
• Verifying all products meets the required specification and labelling requirements prior to dispatch
• Label stock taking and packaging intake
• Paperwork & documentation completion and general organisation
• Carry out calibration of scales and other equipment
• Complete glass, temperature and other checks
• Ensure end labels are printed as and when required for the production area
• Log shelf life samples, review and complete required documentation

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off (6AM-6PM)

Full training during 12-week probationary period will be provided.

Flexibility needed to cover holidays/sickness and seasonal requirements.


Salary:
£10.60-£11.60 per hour
