Within Trade Finance & Lending (TF&L), Cross Product Structuring (CPS) is a dedicated structuring and product development group which is tasked with identifying, developing, structuring and successfully executing any non-vanilla client situations and tailored products across all TF&L product areas as well as asset classes.
In addition, CPS is responsible for initiating, further progressing/ developing and operationalizing future TF&L-product ideas as well as supporting the optimization of the TF&L-infrastructure, in particular any alternative de-risking activities above and beyond the existing distribution efforts.
CPS has a global mandate with clear budget responsibilities and works in close cooperation with the structuring teams as well as risk functions in the corresponding TF&L product areas, Corporate Coverage, all 2nd Line of Defense (LoD) functions and product management.

Your key responsibilities
- The role as Senior Structurer (i.e., privateside frontoffice employee in 1st LoD) in CPS involves the independent development of solutions and products as well as execution of transactions across asset classes with the predefined region in order to serve complex client requests and situations.
- You will shape the product and risk strategy of CPS as well as TF&L and identify new and currently untapped client situations in close alignment and cooperation with Corporate Coverage, other DB distribution units (e.g., Institutional Client Group in the Investment Bank) as well as existing structuring teams of the corresponding TF&L product areas
- Develop adequate client solutions based on the existing TF&L and Capital Markets instruments basket (incl. derivatives in the different asset classes such as Credit, Rates and Commodities, etc.), fully in line with DB Corporate Bank's risk profile as well as fully compliant with all external and internal (legal and regulatory) requirements
- Assume clear End2Endresponsbility for single transactions, with regards to pricing, economic risk analysis, regulatory and accounting assessment, documentation, DBinternal coordination (incl. New Transaction Approval and New Product Approval if needed) und their corresponding execution
- Bring along strong experience in structured solutions in Global Markets and TF&L in APAC combined with a strong understanding on the corridors Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA)
- Asia-Pacific (APAC)
- Buildup and maintain a network of strategic contacts in CB, IB and across the bank, craft and direct the education and further development of junior structurers and assume supervision responsibility
Your skills and experience
- Extensive experience in Capital Markets, specifically in a product development or structuring capacity (preferably Credit, but Macro also acceptable) with indepth understanding and track record in developing, structuring, executing and marketing complex financial services products across all asset classes and instruments
- Longlasting experience in strategic bank management as well as bank risk management at a Tier 1 global banking institution, either as bank executive or with multiyear experience in consulting with extensive track record in successfully executing largescale crossfunctional projects
- Profound understanding of bank and client accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 3/9/15/16) as well as European financial services regulation (e.g., CRR II/CRD IV, BRRD/SAG, MaRisk, EMIR, MiFID II, KWG, Regulation (EU) 2020/852)
- Extensive capabilities in quantitative risk assessment and pricing of credit and macrorisk related products
- Strong commercial acumen: understanding client/market problems, proactively tackling challenges, and seizing opportunities as they arise
- Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate and manage highly agile team
