Description

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is motivated with a real passion for influencing positive change within some of the hardest to help groups.


Working alongside our colleagues within the newly commissioned Swindon Drug and Alcohol service, the Service User Involvement Lead Co-Ordinator will be responsible for the integration of the Service User Voice within the service, ensuring that those voices are an integral thread in the development of services, are heard and responded to, and co-production is at the heart of service development.

The new service will operate out of several hubs across Swindon.


Key Responsibilities are:
To lead on creating a strategic coproduction and engagement implementation plan.


To enable service users to have a voice that is listened to with the aim of influencing, shaping and practicing policy.

Service Users should be heard and their experiences and expertise used to directly influence decisions made at all levels of the organisation in an innovative way.


To plan service user engagement sessions on an ongoing basis to report feedback comments, suggestions, complaints & compliments to the partnership.

To seek ways to improve engagement with underrepresented groups.

To have a curious, critical and analytical approach to making service improvements.

To work collaboratively within the partnership to ensure safeguarding responsibilities are met.

To develop professional working relationships and networks with relevant organisations to support with future coproduction opportunities.

To review and create resources to support the development of good practice within the partnership.

To support the partnership teams to listen and make changes where necessary, encouraging co-production where possible.

To ensuring that equality, diversity and inclusion is visible and accessible within the partnership.

To ensure that service users are involved in recruitment processes across the partnership.

To identify gaps in provision with participation of Service Users and seek to co-produce solutions.

To attend relevant meetings when necessary.

To support Line Manager in the management of contractual relationships with commissioners, purchases and partner agencies.

To promote and maintain the highest standards of customer service throughout.

To support the development and collation of the product evidence base through timely data collection and recording of information.


To liaise with and provide training to partnership staff to ensure effective relationships that facilitate quality engagement with learners, support collection of activity, performance and outcome information and promote business growth.

To highlighting any issues or areas of concern with your line manager.


To promote and support the mission, vision and values of the company at all times, providing a quality service and treating all those with whom they come into contact in a courteous and respectful manner.

To be aware of and compliant with all company policies and procedures.


To ensure familiarity with partner agency policies and procedures when working within their sites with particular regard to Health & Safety, Safeguarding and incident reporting.


To identify any learning, development and training needs and bring these to the attention of your line manager through regular supervision and appraisal reviews.

Any other duties appropriate to the role as tasked by your Line Manager or Company Directors.


Salary:
£25,200.00-£28,000.00 per year
