Description

Stores person required for Birmingham based manufacturer located in the Aston area B7. Salary up to £23,000, plus pension, 33 days holiday, health-care, sick pay and an early finish on a Friday.

Our client although small in size, has an extremely large footprint within their market place. Their products are considered the most advanced technically and also of the highest quality build within their field.

Following some staff changes within the business they now have an opening for a stock controller to work with the Operations Manager to maintain stock levels in line with manufacturing demand.

As stores person/ stock controller for our client your duties will involve:

reporting stock level and stock values

- ensuring stock levels are correct to maximise product efficiency
- pick stock and issue to production
- ensuring stock is put away in the correct location
- when work levels demand helping with some assembly activities
- offering up ideas as to how things can be improved

Our clients is looking for a stores person / stock controller with the following skills:

previous experience of working within a stores environment

- ideally experience within manufacturing so you can understand the important of ensuring correct stock levels
- basic working knowledge of MS Dynamics or some sort of computer package
- excellent organisational skills
- reach truck licence beneficial but not essential
- good level of English and Maths

Salary:
£21,000 to £23,000

Hours:
Mon-Thur 08:00 - 16:30 Fri 08:00 - 13:30
