Description

Our client, a leading provider of window coverings in the UK, is looking for a Financial Controller to join their team in Nottingham.

This role is ideal for an experienced Finance Manager or a recently appointed Financial Controller with a passion for financialmanagement and a desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage the daytoday financial operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, including monthly and quarterly financial statements, budget vs. actual analyses, and cash flow forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting regulations and standards, including UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Oversee the company's financial systems and processes, including the implementation of new systems and the improvement of existing ones
  • Provide guidance and support to other members of the finance team, including coaching and mentoring to help them grow and develop in their roles
  • Collaborate with other departments, including sales and operations, to provide financial insight and analysis that drives business performance and growth
  • Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and realistic projections
  • Participate in the company's strategic planning process, helping to develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's overall goals and objectives
  • Support the CFO and senior management team in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as required.

Requirements:


  • Experience in a retail or manufacturing environment is desirable, but not essential.
