Ocean Infinity is seeking a
Marine Crew Coordinator to ensure that all vessels are safely manned with relevantly experienced and competent personnel possessing the correct certification and qualifications to sail on vessels to which they are assigned and all other elements of crew management.


To act as Cross Function between Operational, Fleet, People & Culture (P&C), and the 3rd Party Crew Management Company to maximise efficiency and utilisation of deployed personnel and equipment.

What will you do:


  • Plan future manning of the fleet regarding maintenance and marine crew staff with a longterm view of becoming autonomous vessels;
  • Strive to constantly improve efficiency in conducting autonomous/semiautonomous operations;
  • Responsible and to be the first point of contact to thirdparty crewing agents;
  • Assisting with the crew recruitment for the Armada fleet alongside the thirdparty agent;
  • Responsible for MLC compliance and arranging annual audits of thirdparty crewing agent activities;
  • Maintain records; systems and paperwork in line with legal; statutory and/or Company requirements;
  • Responsible for crew rotations and planning alongside the thirdparty agent;
  • Acts as the first point of contact for all crew related matters;
  • Responsible for ensuring that all crew related matters are dealt with efficiently and that information is communicated effectively to facilitate the maintenance of good employee relations;
  • Provide timely updates to the Head of Fleet Management regarding Crewing issues;
  • Ensure disciplinary and grievance matters are handled in line with company policies and by the relevant stakeholders;
  • Working with the Master to ensure that the duties of all positions are conducted in a manner consistent with satisfying the obligations imposed upon the company and the job holder by Health, Safety and Environment Legislation, and the provisions of the company's management system;
  • Document any accident, incident, near miss, nonconformity, safety observation or suggestion for improvement in line with company and legislative requirements;
  • Assisting in investigating accidents, incidents and near misses or delegating where required;
  • Develop and maintain a Succession Plan for the vessels;
  • Provides visible guidance and operational leadership for implementing the Ocean Infinity management system consistently with Ocean Infinity policies in all facilities and operations;
  • Participates in and assesses information provided during management reviews and directs actions to improve the management system continually and reduce risk in the workplace;
  • Meets all management system needs for units/departments (e.g., controls, training, PPE, emergency response, corrective actions, and measures, including noncompliance / nonconforming items identified in audits) and participates in HSEQrelated activities as described in the management system;
  • Initiates and participates in risk assessments as required for their field of responsibility and incorporates appropriate controls;
  • Work with HSEQ and the Head of Fleet Manager to ensure safe working procedures are developed, followed, and updated as required;
  • Directs individuals under supervision to obtain any required competency or training, liaising with the Ocean Infinity Training Program;
  • Includes appropriate aspects of the Ocean Infinity management system (e.g., quality, health, safety, environment, business continuity, human rights, etc.) when evaluating and selecting suppliers;
  • Works towards the Ocean Infinity mission and objectives by setting and following up on relevant performance indicators;
  • Drives Ocean Infinity's Health & Safety, Environmental and Social goals and ensures that all decisionmaking supports those goals.

Who you are:


  • Previous Managerial and personnel management experience;
