Description

Seeking Carer for our Mother with a stroke and early onset Dementia
Are you a compassionate and skilled caregiver, ideally with a background in healthcare or the NHS?

We are seeking a dedicated carer to provide essential support to our mother.


Location:
Ingleby Barwick, Stockton on Tees, North Yorkshire


Requirements:


  • Previous carer experience in healthcare or the NHS preferred
  • Asian background preferred to accommodate dietary preferences and cultural background
  • Valid driving license preferred for social outings and transportation needs

Responsibilities:


  • Assisting with toileting, bathing, grooming and getting dressed
  • Handling household tasks like grocery shopping and laundry
  • Mobility assistance using a walking frame and wheelchair when necessary
  • Preparing and serving meals at the appropriate time (familiar with Indian style cooking preferred)
  • Administering oral and topical medication
  • Providing companionship including mental and emotional support
  • Organising suitable recreational activities for the patient
  • Monitoring health and safety, particularly regarding fall risks
