Farrer Barnes is exclusively working with a busy and growing company in Sandwich who are looking to strengthen their HR team.

They are looking for someone (ideally CIPD Level 5), with a strategic yet hands-on approach.
This is a fantastic company with good benefits and an above average number of holiday days. Free parking is available and they have fantastic modern offices.

The job spec is a follows:

  • Manage and administer recruitment, selection and onboarding of staff
  • Review and develop HR policies and procedures and associated SOP's
  • Provide HR guidance and training to the management team
  • Managing employee relations and provide guidance and leadership to the management team
  • Support the development of a training and development plan at all levels to ensure compliance and required skills development
  • Work with the senior team to create an effective organisation structure suitable for growth
  • Contribute to the design and embed an organisational culture fit for the company and its growth
  • Manage and report upon People KPI's
  • Implement HR initiatives to improve the employee experience, e.g., benefits & rewards
  • Create and implement processes to support employee wellbeing and health at work
  • Develop, manage and administer HRIT systems & and People KPI's
  • Responsibility for HR administration (Ad-hoc administration support available)
  • Adherence to applicable governing body requirements.
  • Complete regular reporting to Business Support Manager
  • Manage relationships and activities with external contractors
