Empowering Learning are supporting a Multi-Academy Trust who are seeking to appoint a Principal within one of their secondary schools based is East Anglia.

This role would commence in September 2023 on a permanent basis.


The school has recently been through a rebuild programme and they are currently working through the feasibility stage to deliver a state-of-the-art learning environment for all.

All staff within the school are determined to ensure that all students, regardlessof their background, achieve their personal best in a safe, secure and caring yet challenging learning environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and sustain exceptional educational provision, which will transform the educational and future life opportunities of all pupils.
  • Strategic direction and development of the academy.
  • Establish a culture that promotes excellence, equality, high expectations and aspirations for all students.
  • Work alongside the local governing body and Trust executive team in implementing the academy procedures and policies.
  • Ensure that the management, finance, organisation and administration of the academy, support its vision and aims.
  • Ensure the commitment of parents and the wider community to the vision and direction of the academy.
  • Continue to develop effective relationships with other academies in the academy trust
  • Create and implement a strategic plan, underpinned by sound financial planning, which identifies the priorities, actions and targets that will guide the academy on its journey to "exceptional" in all areas.
  • Monitor, evaluate and review the impact of the academy's policies, priorities and targets to drive continuous improvement.
  • Present accurate accounts of the academy's performance that are appropriate for a range of audiences including parents, governors, Trust level and Ofsted.
  • Ensure a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Salary offered:
£79,948 - £92,596 (Dependent on skills and experience)
