DK Recruitment are currently recruiting for Nightshift Production Operators to join a manufacturing company based in Plymouth. The purpose of this job is to accurately operate CNC machining centres in order to manufacture complex components. (Mon to Thurs


Main Duties:


  • Read and understand engineering drawings and specifications to follow appropriate method, sequence of operations
  • Operate automatic or manual controls to feed tool to workpiece or vice versa checks accuracy of machining
  • Reposition workpiece as necessary during production run
  • Use the safe and correct method of operation of the machine
  • Visual inspection to customer required tolerances
  • Use measuring equipment accurately and correctly
  • Safely operate CNC machining centres
  • Work in accordance with the standards required by the company and their customers
  • Work often on own initiative
  • Continue to help/improve work environment and carry out housekeeping duties in line with 5S
  • The above list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope and grading of the post
