Job description


We currently have a vacancy for a Home Tutor to support a 10 year old child with profound learning difficulties.

The successful applicant MUST have experience of working with non-verbal children, using PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) or Makaton. Experience delivering sensory activities would also be advantageous. Experience of working with children with EHCP is essential.

We are responsible for providing an interim package of education in the home, whilst a school place is provided.

Tutors are given 1-2 hours planning and preparation time per student per week.

This is a rewarding and flexible role allowing a tutor to work part time or fulltime.
