Connolly and Callaghan provide a safe and comfortable place to stay for up to 1000 people every night in the Bristol area.

Our Emergency Accommodation service works with statutory agencies across the South West to place homeless families and individuals on a temporary and emergency basis.

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our small friendly team. the role will be based at our head office in Hamilton House at Stokes Croft, Bristol. The post holder will be required to work in the office.

You must be very organised and be able to prioritise your work.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Accounts Assistant to join an exciting business where you can really "add value" from day one.

Working within a small team of four as Accounts Assistant, you will perform a variety on accounts based tasks dependant on your level of experience.

You must be familiar with working with Sage and using Excel spreadsheets.

The duties associated with this role will include dealing with the following:

Weekly Sales Invoicing (approximately 500 per month).
Managing Petty Cash transactions.
Tracking Council Tax Liability for a large number of properties and ensuring that

payments are made as scheduled.

Overseeing one of the Subsidiary Company Accounts.
Carrying out bank reconciliation statements and credit control duties relating to sales

ledger.

Posting BACS remittance statements to Sage.

The hours of work are usually 37.5 per week from Monday to Friday. The hours will be working from 9:00am to 5:00pm with 30 mins for lunch.
