To help us build functional systems that improve customer experience we are now looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our product team.
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for deploying product updates, proactively monitoring production environments to identify issues, build and expand our development pipelines and implement integrations that meet our customers' needs.
Working to automate and improve development and release processes, as well as ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
The DevOps engineer will work closely with the development and QA team to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended, helping to reduce any bottlenecks or issues faced by the team.
About you:
A relevant technical/computing degree or an equivalent technical background.
Experience with one or more
high-level OO languages.(Java is ideal)
Previous experience using
GCP
Good knowlege of
Kubernetes
Experience of working on at least
one consumer or enterprise software project
More than four years experience in a DevOps Engineer role.
A proactive approach to automating development processes.
Experience implementing and configuring
Docker containers and/or Kubernetes.
Experience with
Bash or Powershell.
Previous experience building, configuring and maintaining various
CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure Devops, CircleCI or CodePipeline.
Experience of IAC tooling such as
Terraform, CloudFormation, Deployment Manager, etc.
Proficient with
GIT and GitHub workflows.
Working knowledge of
databases and SQL.
Familiarity with**software development best practices.
