Are you looking for a new role within an autism support charity, making a real difference to people's lives every day?
We are recruiting for a Quality & Assurance Officer based in Bromborough, Wirral. This role would see you helping to ensure and maintain the quality of our specialist autism support services.

Autism Together is one of the UK's leading providers of services for autistic people.

Since our formation 55 years ago, we have grown from supporting a handful of autistic children, to caring for over 400 adults, and many more children and families across our varied services.


Based in Bromborough, Wirral, this is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, 37.5 hours per week.

The salary is £24,666 per year. Annual leave is 25 days, plus 8 statutory bank holidays.


What you will be doing
The role involves logging, analysing and reporting on data from our Residential, Supported Living and Day Services. You will also be dealing with CQC/CIW compliance and safeguarding statuses.


Part of the role will be to undertake mock tests of CQC/CIW inspections of our services and drive quality, including follow-up reviews.


You will also undertake quality assurance visits to ensure high quality bespoke care and support packages, including the auditing of care and support documentation.


You will work closely and collaboratively with our Quality & Assurance Manager and Registered Managers to achieve Good and Outstanding inspections and support the maintenance of the Quality Framework.


They should have:

  • QCF level 3 or equivalent in Managing Social Care or a willingness to work towards this qualification.
  • Knowledge and experience of CQC quality standards.
  • Understanding of theories and practices relating to support for autistic people.
  • At least 1 years' experience of working as a manager within a social care organisation.
  • Knowledge of personcentred planning and the personalisation agenda.
  • Ability to manage work load, write and prepare reports.
  • Ability to lead, manage and supervise a team.
  • Good IT skills.
The post holder will be based in Oak House with opportunities to work from home.

There will be a requirement to visit services regularly across our support service departments which includes travel to West Cheshire and across Wirral.
