Permanent - 37 hours per week
We are looking for our next Junior Finance Business Partner to join our team.

Your role will include the following:

  • Prepare all Management Accounting journals for your areas of the Group
  • Prepare the "balancing side" of intercompany transactions for posting in the appropriate entity's ledger
  • Deputise for the Finance Business Partners as appropriate
  • Identify, investigate and correct or explain material variances in the monthly Statement of Comprehensive Income
  • Complete designated balance sheet reconciliations as scheduled
  • Deliver administrative tasks that are directly linked to finance activities (including resolving invoice queries, raising manual invoices and credit notes, and raising financerelated purchase requisitions)
  • Work with FBPs to create input templates for annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting
  • Attend and actively participate in all budgeting and reforecasting meetings with budget holders and Finance Business Partners, ensuring that you are equipped to provide explanations as required
  • Support the completion of all audit recommendations relevant to business area so they are actioned in a timely manner
  • And other duties to be discussed with the hiring manager.

About you:

You will have your AAT Qualification or be in the process of completion. You will have experience in Financial & Accounts Preparation, as well as having appropriate general accounting experience.


As you will be working closely with other departments, you will be able to build great relationships which enable you to access accurate and timely information for the Financial Team, and any other you may liaise with.

Experience of working in a Social Housing environment is desirable but not a must.
