What does your typical day look like?
Reporting to the Site Lead, this is a key role within the FBC-UK Planning & Materials team.


Finished Goods service level is paramount, and this is a pivotal role within the Supply Chain function by ensuring that there are always sufficient FG stock available to meet production plans, whilst simultaneously balancing the needs of our warehousing.

Other key actions will be but not limited to:

  • Work towards a Customer Service level target of 98.6%
  • Ownership of the internal planning tool BPPS (Excel)
  • Work crossfunctionally between customer service, demand planning, and other internal functions, as well as direct customer communication when required
  • Holding correct finished goods stocks
  • React to short notice plan amendments and communicate changes effectively
  • Implementation of all PCP
  • Line management of the Material Planner

What are the key ingredients needed for the role?

  • Proven experience within a similar role
  • FMCG / food manufacturing experience advantageous
  • Management experience
  • High attention to detail
  • Analytical thinker
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales
  • Flexibility to work onsite 5 days a week, with travel to our Edinburgh site as and when required
