Join JLR as the Manufacturing Change Management Lead and be at the forefront of revolutionizing manufacturing processes with the introduction of 3DX system while playing a critical role in ensuring a successful transition and enabling the company to achieve new heights of efficiency and excellence.
The purpose of this role is to drive and oversee the design, development and implementation of engineering change management processes within the manufacturing operations.
You will be responsible for the correct mix of Process, Data, IT and Technology to optimise, standardise and improve processes across our global manufacturing plants.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Drive and facilitate the development of Business Capability, Process Maps and clear Business Requirements to define the process and systems needed to transform our systems landscape into our Global Target Operating Model.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy for the implementation of the 3DX system, ensuring smooth adoption and mínimal disruption to manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, IT, and operations, to understand their needs and concerns, and effectively communicate the benefits and impact of the 3DX system.
- Support business change area with the design and delivery of training programs and communication materials to educate employees on the features, benefits, and usage of the 3DX system, fostering a positive and receptive environment for change; Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Go Live and Early Life Support planning, to aid a flawless launch.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to analyse existing processes, identify gaps between current and target state and research market trends to inform future strategy; opportunities for improvement, and align them with the capabilities of the current system.
- Facilitate Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEAs); Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address any challenges that may arise during the implementation and adoption of the 3DX system.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the change management process, regularly track progress, ensure business processes are performing effectively, and provide reports and recommendations to management team.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and evaluate the impact of the 3DX system on manufacturing operations, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in change management, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Experience of defining operational processes, business capabilities or IT requirements.
- Experience or knowledge of project management or supporting projects in a complex environment.
- Experience or knowledge of driving process improvement activities or managing change.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably in the automotive industry.
