The Logistics Planner role:
Reporting to the Partner Manager you will provide effective and accurate coordination for the fulfilment of warehousing and transport operations for key customers and 3rd party contracts, to ensure that all business KPI's required for said contracts and3rd party partners are achieved and the needs of the related business units and stakeholders are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- To support all aspects of operational planning & administration for the SUEZ contract, covering sales order, procurement, warehousing and distribution activities across both Suez SAP & Univar SAP.
- To work collaboratively with business stakeholders to ensure all operational requirements are achieved.
- To support performance reporting through report creation.
- To ensure effective control of costs and stock
- To support the investigation and administration of customer complaints
- To ensure compliance to Statutory requirements, Quality procedures, GDP Policies and Procedures and Insurance requirements
- To co-operate on all matters concerned with Health, Safety, Training, Legislation and the Environment
About you:
- A good level of IT skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as these are essential to this role
- The capability to follow established procedures
- The ability to prioritise your work and display a high level of attention to detail whilst working within a team
- IMDG training would be an advantage
