Senior EMEA Third Party Risk Manager advert

A Procurement Risk Manager is sought for a Central London based organisation. Interim, 12 month hybrid contract. Day rate of circa £550 - £700 p/d (inside IR35)


Our client a market-leading financial services organisation is hiring a Procurement Third Party Risk Manager to join the Group Procurement function on a 12 month basis.


Key responsibilities:


  • Key Risk contact for stakeholders, providing guidance on supplier governance and assurance activities applicable to individual supplier engagements,
  • Monitor and support procurement compliance,
  • Ensuring the quality and integrity of the Supplier Risk Management system
  • Support the delivery of key projects relating to supplier governance, and identify innovation and improvements, while delivering tangible value
  • Train stakeholders on best practices relating to supplier governance, risk and assurance
  • Review EMEA regulatory requirements for local outsourcing requirements
  • Support standardisation of Regional Legal Entity approaches, identify if existing regional policies are necessary

About you:

Thriving on the challenge of earning the trust of stakeholders in a relationship-driven organisation, you will be a pro-active, entrepreneurial and career minded procurement, supplier development and risk expert

  • History of working in a similar third party risk and/or supplier governance function at a senior level
  • Ideally you will have existing knowledge of the European Banking Authority or FCA
  • Excellent knowledge of supplier management and third party risk across a complex, multi country business
  • The success of leading regulatory procurement projects to tight deadlines
  • Experience in providing stakeholders with risk, supplier governance and assurance advice
  • Ability to work independently in a fast adapting and agile work environment
  • Proactive and deliverable focused, with a dedication to delivering against hard deadlines
  • Willing to work, onsite in London 3 days per week
  • Already be based in the UK and be eligible to work and remain for at least 12 months

What's on offer?
A 12 month interim contract. Day rate in the region of £550-£700p/d, inside IR35. Hybrid work policy, 3 days onsite p/w.
