Desktop Support Engineer / Trade Floor / Financial / Bloomberg / Telephony / Hardware /

Location:
Central London

Salary:
£65,000 - £70,000 + Package

Permanent

There may be a requirement to work shifts in order to cover trading times, although the hours covered are not expected to be outside of 7am -7pm, with occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities / Skills

Trading floor, Financial, Investment firm experience of high pressure environments
Windows Operating systems
Corporate telephony and trading dealerboards
Video conferencing platforms and end user support
Deployment tools (SCCM, Altiris or similar)
Market Data experience in particular Bloomberg.
Networking technologies and desktoptocomms room patching
HP Desktop Hardware products and support
Mobile device support (Blackberry/UEM)
Strong knowledge of remote connection technologies, Citrix Access Gateway, RSA tokens, 2 factor authentication
Strong knowledge of Citrix Receiver& Citrix Xen Desktop Environment
Ability to Support Traders in WAN connected offices

Desirable knowledge and skills:
Avaya telephony skills / Polycom video conferencing / Microsoft Hyper-V VDI Support / Mobile technology OS familiarity of Mac, Android & Windows
