Maintenance Engineer, Greater London, Continental Shift, Circa £48,000 - £50,500

Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias is required to join the Team working within a FMCG environment carrying out planned and reactive maintenance

The Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer will work within the Engineering team and duties will include:

  • Carrying out planned maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance (respond to breakdowns) both electrical and mechanical across the FMCG site whilst ensuring all the company procedures and standards are followed
  • The Maintenance Engineer will work in close collaboration with Production and Engineering to maximise machine efficiency and minimise both machinery breakdowns and production disturbances.
  • The Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer will be involved in continuous improvement programs as a part of a drive to improve machine efficiency and safety.
  • A high standard of electrical and mechanical knowledge will be required (electrically qualified). This will ideally be gained from industries such as FMCG, Packaging, Food or Drink manufacturing.
  • You must be able to communicate effectively, have excellent attention to detail and be competent with the ability to 'think on your feet'


The successful Maintenance Engineer will have a clear understanding of engineering processes and techniques have completed an engineering apprenticeship, HNC, HND, ONC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, with the ability to work within the requirementsof the Health and Safety at Work Act.
