Customer Service Sales Administrator

£23,000 - £24,000

The role:

In this role, you'll spend approximately 80% of your time:

  • Processing orders efficiently through their website platform.
  • Addressing and resolving issues related to missing or incorrect orders.
  • Utilising your expertise to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery.

Additionally, you'll spend around 20% of your time:

  • Engaging directly with customers to assist with product enquiries and take orders over the telephone
  • Offer customers alternative products if stock is not available
  • Providing exceptional support to enhance their customer experience and foster positive relationships with their customers.

Key skills and experience:

  • Strong administration skills, ideally with experience in a manufacturing background where you have experience of processing and taking orders (although not essential).
  • Experienced in managing online orders and resolving related issues.
  • Contributing to the warm and supportive atmosphere within their small customer services team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with customers and building relationships to secure repeat orders
  • Experience in conflict resolution and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
