About the Role:
Remitly is looking for a visual designer with experience in both print and digital design.

We're looking for someone who can grow their expertise and help deliver our design projects as part of our in-house Creative Team.


You will initially be a fixed-term contract until the end of 2024 with the possibility of future extensions or conversion.

You are driven, have experience generating creative work and experience building assets for both print and digital including, OOH, events collateral and press and digital channels.

You will have experience with all things creative and succeed in delivering complex jobs at a fast pace.

You will be based in London and will require approximately 50% of your time in the office, reporting into the Senior Visual Designer.

You Will:

  • Contribute to the brainstorming, production and delivery of creative across main marketing channels such as print/OOH, event collateral and digital static assets, such as Meta display creative
  • Experience working in large formats which need to be creative and impactful in large spaces
  • Recommend and develop creative ideas/formats to test out
  • Amend and localise existing graphic assets to ensure use in other markets (transcreation such as translations, updating disclaimers, imagery and currency symbols where relevant)
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects
  • Collaborate with several team members, including brief owners, designers, agencies, and the creative project manager to manage your workload by clarifying requirements and establishing delivery expectations
  • Produce high quality creative deliverables, for both print and digital outputs
  • Help maintain templates, style guides and asset libraries

You Have:

  • 34 years experience producing creative assets to help market a consumer product/service mostly through digital or print design (for advertising)
  • Expert level of understanding of fundamental disciplines and design principles such as colour, composition and typography
  • Can build both printready and static creative. Experience working with and delivering assets to agency partners
  • Comfortable working off media plans and familiar with main formats and requirements for the UK at a minimum
  • Receptive to creative feedback in the creative/design development process
  • Solid knowledge of current industrystandard software such as; Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Figma
  • Image/footage researching skills from inhouse libraries and online stock imagery sites
  • Experience designing with multiple languages would be beneficial as we support over 15+ languages across the UK, EMEA and APAC regions
  • Good teamwork skills
  • Work with different team members in varying timezones
  • Experience working for highgrowth eCommerce or tech companies
