To oversee the Trust-based administrative services to NHS England East of England (NHS England EoE) Postgraduate School of Anaesthesia. To provide administrative support to the listed specialities including Training Programme Directors and senior clinicians.

The School of Anaesthesia oversees training programs in Anaesthesia, Intensive Care Medicine, Pain Medicine and ACCS (Anaesthesia)

Main duties of the job


Provide administrative support and guidance to the Head of School (HoS), Training Programme Directors (TPD), and NHS England, East of England (NHS England EoE) for NHS England related tasks, as required.

Organise and support the organisation of face-to-face and TEAMS meetings between the relevant specialties' trainees and members of their Training Committee (outside the RCP process)

Oversee the delivery of the Regional Training Days.

Maintain up to date lists and contact details (including on the NHS England EoE website)

Qualifications:

Essential criteria

Educated to degree level or NVQ level 4 or equivalent.

  • Customer Service/ Business Admin /ITQ or equivalent professional experience.
Desirable criteria

Secretary qualification or equivalent.

Team leader/management qualification.

Organising courses and events virtual and face to face.

Producing accurate financial costings for courses and events.

High level administrative experience.

Prioritising, planning and organising own tasks.

Previous experience of working in NHS.
