    Junior Management Accountant

    Description:

    We are seeking a Junior Management Accountant to join our Outsourcing division in Oxford. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a top 100 independent accountancy practice that values innovation, technology, and client-centric approach.

    • Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
    • Utilize accounting software packages like Xero, Sage, and CCH
    • Assist in preparation of management accounts and VAT returns
    • Process invoices and reconcile bank accounts
    • Grow your technical knowledge through on-the-job training and formal qualifications

    About the Role:

    This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a pension, life assurance, retail discount scheme, flexible working, and support to complete the AAT/ACCA qualification with study leave and time off for exams.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Preparation of management accounts and VAT returns
    • Processing invoices and reconciling bank accounts
    • Building positive relationships with clients and colleagues
    • Utilizing accounting software packages like Xero, Sage, and CCH

    About You:

    • You will have a positive and proactive attitude
    • You will be keen to learn and progress
    • You will have great communication skills, both verbal and written
    • You will have excellent attention to detail and IT skills, specifically Xero
    • AAT qualification (or in progress) with at least 1-2 years of experience in a UK accountancy practice or a varied industry role in a larger group structure organisation
    • You will be a self-motivated team player with great organization skills
    • QuickBooks Online, Sage, and CCH experience a plus

    Estimated Salary:

    £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
